Certified/Administrative Positions

  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card*

*International applicants may still apply. We acknowledge international applicants may not have an Arizona teaching certificate or IVP card at time of application.

Classified Positions

General District Additional Job Requirements

All employees shall have a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card and show proof of COVID vaccination (or valid exemption) upon placement.

Example Compensation for Full Time Certified Staff

  • Base salary of $45,000 (BA, 1st year teacher with zero years experience). Placement honors up to five years of verifiable experience.
    • Ability to increase salary each year with Professional Growth separate from any raises that may be applied to the next school year depending on board approval. 
  • $2,000 additional Prop 301 Salary for certified employees
  • $3,000 annual Hard to Fill Stipend for appropriately certified employees in areas of science, math, ESS (SPED), or STEM
  • $3,000 annual National Board Certified Stipend (Must show proof of certification)
  • Teachers may be eligible for Prop 301 performance pay (determined by board approved plan)
  • Eligible for annual Retention Stipend after employed for one year (dependent upon funds available) 
  • Eligible for additional extra duty/supplemental pay opportunities like coaching, tutoring, sponsoring, prep period subbing, etc. 

Example Compensation for Full Time Classified Staff

  • Hourly salary - placement honors up to five years experience
  • Eligible for $750–$1,500 Annual Educational Stipend if employee has a AA, BA/MA degree.
  • Eligible for Annual Retention Stipend after employed for one year (dependent upon funds available)
  • Eligible for additional extra duty/supplemental pay opportunities like coaching and athletics event work 
  • Payroll, purchasing, accounting specialist, RN, and accounts payable specialist positions are eligible for $3,000 annual Hard to Fill Stipend

Substitute Salary: Substitutes generally are on-call temporary workers and may work up to 20 hours per week. Long term placement 10+ days in one position may be made if there are vacancies open. 

Employee Benefits: Our employee benefits represent an important part of your total compensation. We offer the following benefits for eligible employees:

  • Medical, vision, dental, life insurance, and employee assistance program for the employee (District pays 100% of the eligible employee premiums. Spouse/children may be added at the employee’s own cost).
  • Retirement benefits through Arizona State Retirement System
  • Workers compensation
  • 32 hours of personal (vacation) leave per year 
  • Other leaves (sick leave, bereavement leave, FMLA, professional, or others in accordance with district policy)
  • 12-month contracted employees are also eligible for annual leave and five paid holidays
  • Other benefits such flexible spending accounts, additional voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, etc. are also available at employees own cost.

Employees are eligible for benefits if they are generally a full time employee with 30 hours or more per week and/or comply with ACA regulations.
